About The Class
"Cartooning with Kane & P-nut" is a unique class built around worksheet-based activities that each hone a different cartooning skill while maintaining a sense of play and improvisation.
Kids are intuitive storytellers and illustrators—this class will help them build a toolset to express that creativity, rather than slowing them down with boring "how-tos."
We strive to create a fun and nuturing creative environment for kids of every race, gender identity, learning style and skill level.
Kane Lynch is a cartoonist and educator whose comics and illustrations have appeared on The Nib, Slate, and Psychology Today and in the graphic novel Guantanamo Voices (Abrams Books, 2020).
A graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies MFA program, Kane developed the school’s “Cartoon Club” curriculum for 8-15 year old artists. In addition to teaching regular classes, Kane does workshops with young artists at schools, libraries, and comic cons throughout the country.
Kane is currently working on a middle grade graphic novel and is represented by Alex Weiss at the Azantian Literary Agency.
